Meet Pastors Carl & Tenisha Smalls
Pastors Carl & Tenisha Smalls have a heart for people, a passion for community, and a desire to see individuals and families transformed through a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
Before stepping into their roles as Pastors of Restoration Church, Carl and Tenisha served together in youth ministry for eight years, investing in the next generation and developing a shared passion for helping people discover their identity and purpose in Christ. Pastor Carl also served in worship ministry alongside his father, Apostle Carl Smalls Sr., before transitioning into pastoral leadership.
Together, they lead with a love for God, family, and community and believe the church should be a place where every generation can encounter God, find healing, grow in faith, and know that they belong.
Pastor Carl holds a bachelor’s degree in Theological Leadership from Lee University and has a strong heart for serving the community. Pastor Tenisha’s passion for the next generation extends beyond the church and into education, where she serves children and families as an educator.
Carl and Tenisha are the proud parents of five children: Carl III, Colleen, Teonna, Carly, and Trace. Their son, Carl III, is forever cherished in their family and legacy.
As Restoration celebrates 25 years of ministry, Pastors Carl & Tenisha are honored to build upon the foundation that has been laid while leading Restoration into its next chapter—loving people, developing disciples, strengthening families, and reaching generations for Christ.
